Shikhar Dhawan (Gabbar)

Shikhar Dhawan, “the Gabbar” of Indian cricket is one of the most stylish batsmen to ever play for Team India. He is a left-handed batsman, so it’s obvious that elegance comes naturally to his batting style. Shikhar was born into a Punjabi family in Delhi on December 5, 1985. His father’s name was Mahendra Pal and his mother’s name was Sunaina. He is known as a destructive opening batsman who can change the game single-handedly. Dhawan is known for performing in big matches, especially in Icc tournaments and this is the reason why he is also known as Mr. ICC.

IPL Carrier: In his second spell for Delhi’s IPL team, he scored more than 500 runs in all three IPL seasons that he played for the Delhi Capitals. He scored back-to-back centuries in the 2020 IPL season while playing for the Delhi Capitals. Shikhar was bought by the Punjab Kings in the 2022 IPL auction. He scored 460 runs in his first season for the Punjab Kings and 373 runs in the 2023 IPL. Dhawan is the first player to hit consecutive centuries in the IPL. He holds the record for scoring the most number of fours in the IPL. He won the IPL trophy with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2016 campaign.
